The aim of Münsterland e.V.
is to further develop the Münsterland region for its residents and make it more attractive for tourists, skilled workers and companies on an ongoing basis.In 2018, Münsterland e.V. approached us with the task of relaunching its own website to create a uniform and representative internet presence. After extensive planning and preparations, we created the current website of the regional association from four domains based on the CMS Processwire, developed a data portal and customized software for information boards and have been continuously involved in the further development of the website ever since.
We are also regularly involved in online marketing. In 2022, we took over the management of the DeinMünsterLandMoment.de campaign for the third time in a row and successfully managed it.

With a focus on tourism, culture and business, the regional management organization is active across all sectors. The focus is on increasing the attractiveness of the Münsterland region for various target groups by expanding cultural and tourism offerings.
The work of Münsterland e.V. is aimed at locals and skilled workers as well as travelers and companies who want to settle in Münsterland. Against the backdrop of economic growth, the various target groups are addressed with a wide range of offers and supported with marketing measures.
With the relaunch of the websites, we have created the basis for the implementation of data portals, new software and other functions. Continuous further development and the support of marketing campaigns characterize our work with Münsterland e.V.
Since we have had our SEO activities managed by DREIKON in Münster, the visibility of our website has increased enormously and permanently. The holistic approach to consulting and implementation has been very worthwhile for us.
With the relaunch of the new Münsterland e.V. website, we merged the four previously separate domains - culture, tourism, business and association - into one domain. The move was successful without any loss of traffic or visibility for the more than 2,000 URLs.
The open source CMS ProcessWire was selected as the CMS in order to guarantee the customer maximum flexibility for possible technical and functional extensions. Just three years after the go-live of the new website, we were able to integrate a permanent translation function into English and Dutch by integrating a DeepL interface, thus enabling machine translation of the entire website.
At the same time as the website relaunch, we used the Laravel framework to develop a data portal with an interface to our own website. This enabled us to maintain the constantly growing range of cycle routes, newly added POIs, event calendars and booking portals centrally and display them directly on the new website.
In the following year, we launched the development of Share-IT, a solution for integrating content from the data portal into internal and external websites. We also created microsites to enable partners and interested parties of Münsterland e.V. to have their own website with a direct link to the Münsterland data portal. We built our own CMS based on the CMS ProcessWire for this purpose. In 2022, the portal was expanded to include public transport connections.
At the same time, we used ProcessWire to develop software for information boards that are placed at selected POIs and interactively access the data stored in the data portal.
With the DeinMünsterLandMoment.de campaign, the Münsterland e.V. presents exciting inspiration for excursions and activities in the Münsterland region to interested parties every summer.
As part of the project implementation, we provided advice on the website and promotion of the project, implemented the website and supported the initiators in developing the various inspirations. After the start of the project, we designed, implemented and managed the online application on various social media channels. The success of the application in the first year 2020 meant that we were also commissioned to promote the DeinMünsterLandMoment.de campaign in the following years 2021 and 2022.
In order to play out the advertisements in the most targeted and efficient way possible and to develop a suitable budget allocation, it was necessary to work out the various target groups for each inspiration. We made dynamic adjustments during the course of the campaign, taking into account vacation periods, changes in activities, etc.
Over the course of the campaign, we created, maintained, managed and optimized a number of ad creatives in image and video format for the various ad formats on social media.
