Award for Skate Aid website

"The redesign and implementation of the skate-aid website was a real labor of love for us and it's nice to see that the new online presence is also appreciated in this way," says DREIKON co-owner Matthias Kampmann about the award.

The agency owners of DREIKON, who come from the Münsterland region, grew up with the skateboard scene in Münster. They have been following the development of skate-aid since its beginnings in 2009 and are happy to contribute a small part to the skate-aid mission with the website. Worldwide, skate-aid empowers children through workshops and the skateboard as an educational tool. Founded by the Titus Dittmann Foundation, the association promotes the self-socialization, integration and inclusion of adolescents with over 25 projects. One of the last major projects was the construction of a skate park near Damascus. In cooperation with the SOS Children's Villages, skate-aid aims to improve the situation of traumatized children in Syria. They can let off steam in educationally supervised workshops and strengthen their sense of togetherness by interacting with others.
