Full-time social media trainee (40 hours) in Münster

Would you like to start your career in the social media sector? In our 12-month full-time program, we will prepare you for all the tasks and challenges that need to be mastered in social media management. The chances of subsequently being taken on as a full-time or part-time Social Media Manager (m/f/d) are very good.

We are an expanding full-service advertising agency and the only Google Premier Partner from Münster with currently 20 experts in development, print and online marketing. Our focus is particularly on digital media. We currently support around 100 medium-sized clients (DACH region) with 5 to 3,000 employees.

How your 12-month training as a social media trainee works

Getting to know each other & onboarding (week 1)

Introduction to our agency-specific work processes, getting to know your colleagues and discussing the content of your training.

Introduction to online marketing (week 2)

Personal introduction to the world of online marketing: explanation of the basic connections between different channels in online marketing and teaching the basics with regard to push versus pull marketing, targeting and result expectations.

Introduction to social media marketing (week 3)

We will show you what facets and special features social media marketing has in contrast to other marketing measures and take a first look at the many different social media platforms.

Introduction to creative development and tools (week 4 and 5)

You will learn about different creative approaches and get to know tools for creating attractive social media content in order to independently create images and videos for use on social media.

Social media organic (week 6 to 10)

You will accompany an Online Marketing Manager (m/f/d) in the conception and creation of an editorial plan for the publication of social media posts on various channels, including insights into platform-specific features of the respective networks.

Social media paid ads (week 11 and 12)

Together with an Online Marketing Manager (m/f/d), you will conceptualize and create campaigns for the display of paid advertisements in various social networks. You will get to know the topics of target group creation, ad creative development, targeting and performance measurement in more detail.

Deepen your knowledge of operational activities on social media (week 13 to 16)

We will deepen your operational knowledge by monitoring and supporting various social media channels and campaigns in order to highlight and evaluate the correlations in social media marketing. You will learn how to determine, interpret and scrutinize the various key performance indicators and how you can use them to create attractive customer reporting.

Takeover of social media support at the customer (week 17 to 48)

You will be assigned your own client for personal social media support. Of course, experienced online marketing managers (m/f/d) will always be at your side as sparring partners and coaches. During this time, you will create an editorial plan with the help of your colleagues and prepare a report, which you will discuss with the client together with a senior online marketing manager.

The end of your traineeship

We will conduct a job interview with you with a view to your employment with us as a Social Media Manager (m/f/d). If you and we come to the conclusion that your traineeship was successful and that you enjoyed working in the social media sector, a permanent position with us is likely. We may decide together to extend your trainee status by 3 months. This may depend on your prior knowledge and possibly on factors such as illness / downtime with which you started your traineeship or what happened during the collaboration.

After your takeover...

...there is so much more to learn. We will continue to train you in new networks, web analytics, conversion tracking and implementation, as well as the complex interplay between the many different online marketing options. In the future, every area of online marketing will be open to you.

Qualifications: A-levels, completed vocational training, started or completed studies or relevant professional experience.     As a social media trainee, you are at the center of your training.

    We attach great importance to preparing you as a prospective Social Media Manager (m/f/d) for your future job in the best possible way. We invest a lot of time and energy in your training. After all, we are also concerned with creating and maintaining sustainability in the HR department.

    For this reason, the position of social media trainee in our social media agencyis only offered on a full-time basis. Part-time employment (25 hours per week) is possible on request after successful completion of the trainee program. However, we already offer extensive and flexible home office options during your traineeship. In the first three months in particular, your presence at the agency is absolutely essential for getting to know your colleagues and for a successful introduction to the social media learning content.
